1. If you want to be in the mood for a pumpkin spice anything! – You’ve Got Mail
This film is perfect if you are in the mood to curl up on the couch with a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks play two strangers who fall in love via email while never having met in person. The zinger is that they are actually business rivals in real life. The movie takes place in New York during autumn and you can almost feel the crisp fall wind brush your face as you see them run around the city.
2. For inspiration to turn a new leaf – The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
If you have been itching to make a life change, this is the movie for you! Ben Stiller plays Walter Mitty, a man who is a negative assets manager at LIFE magazine and regularly daydreams about being more adventurous. When a missing photo negative threatens his job, he decides to take action and embarks on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than he could have ever dreamed.

If you are looking for a good fall movie to watch after a date, look no further. This movie follows Melanie Carmichael, a New York City fashion designer who is forced to return home to Alabama to divorce her estranged husband just as the leaves are turning. However, Melanie realizes it’s not just the leaves that are turning as she becomes nostalgic for her past life.
